Red Bookcase. Oblique view — 1/3

The bookcase is constructed with 1″ thick Jatoba boards, assembled using blind dadoes and blind rabbets. The simple form is countered by the rich color and expressiveness of the grain. A high level of craftsmanship, coupled with the exceptional stiffness of the wood, results in near-zero deflection and lends an unusual machined quality to the piece.
